This is a great place to grab a bite to eat. I can only speak for the self serve stations where you pay by the pound. Green Apple offers a variety of salads, fruit, and vegetables in the cold station and a few types of meats, starches, and veggies in the hot station. I have been satisfied by the freshness and quality of the food they offer. I have had beef with brown rice as well as short ribs with lo mein noodles and asparagus on the side on two separate occasions. I also like their mango and pepper salad as well as the fresh fruit selection. There is something for everyone here. It seems the other stations are pretty popular as well but they also require more time. I am usually on the go but I would like to try it out on a future visit.

The store is kept clean and well stocked but the service and sandwich I purchased last night was not what I was expecting for a place with a 4 star rating.
The person behind the counter kept mumbling something to us, and before we could ask him what he said, he'd walk away. This happened about 4x before I just tried to get his attention to give him my order for an Italian sub.
He made the sandwich on the counter and it was very poorly made. The bread was very soggy, not even enough lettuce or tomato so that every bite had some, there were over 30 pieces of pickled jalapenos that were being used as the "hot peppers", and he just kinda threw the sun-dried tomatoes all over the place .... which you can clearly see in the photo. This sandwich cost us $12. I threw half of it away.
In the end, I'd only come here for convenience store items; e g. water, chocolate. However I will never come back here for their "fresh food". I live only a few blocks away and was really hoping to find a solid deli to frequent, but this is absolutely not that place. -

Beware - Outrageous prices $9.79 for a small bottle of juice. No bottle of juice is worth 10 bucks. We won't be back for more!

It so good. We've searched for some more healthy food around Times Square. And this is the place to go!

Appreciate that they're open late night - the sandwiches are of a good size and come with a bag of chips. However, they're heated on a panini press and the guy isn't too patient so it's common to have cold insides and unmelted cheese.
The cheesecake here isn't bad either - actually fairly light, not that dense, and not oversweetened.
